The Trappers finished the regular season in Gibson’s on Saturday night with a defeat to the Tsunami. Both teams entered the contest with 41 points making the game an important one for playoff seeding. Coastal having won moved into 5th place seeing their playoff opponent shift to the Delta Icehawks. The Trappers slipped to 6th place seeing their playoff opponent move to third place Chilliwack. The Trappers and Jets have met twice in the playoffs in the last three seasons with both decisions going to the Jets 4-1 and 4-3 respectively. The Trappers and Jets have played each other hard all season long with heavy hitting, high scoring, and tactivly creative showcases of hockey.
