The Langley Trappers Three On Three League for the 2024-2025 season has come to a conclusion with the Blue Chickens winning the coveted Stanley Cup.
The Trappers Three On Three League see’s the Trappers roster draft smaller teams to compete once a month in a three on three mini league. the season is made up of 5 practices, once a month from September to January making up the regular season. First place plays fourth and second plays third place in the playoffs held in February with the winners advancing to the finals. The teams are able to trade in the form of player for player or player for PDF. The teams have duties to do as a group throughout the course of the season such as dressing room cleanliness, filling the water bottles, doing puck walks after practice, and doing, sorting and folding the laundry.
Blue came into the playoffs as the fourth seed ultimately edging out the first place Bakken Black team. Blue had a stellar performance in the finals beating out the White Owls to earn the title. Congratulations to #18 Ronan Coopman, #27 Easton Melanson, #12 Lucas Wood, #22 Ian Burns, #3 Nabeel Moledina, #19 Patrick Coopman, and goaltenders #30 Dwayne-Paul Cruz, and #1 Armaan Kaila for winning the Trappers Three On Three League!
