The Langley Trappers have traded the playing rights of Jasha Bichin to the Aldergrove Kodiaks and a Player Development Fee for the playing rights of Wesley Rowley.
Bichin is in his rookie season in the Pacific Junior Hockey League. He appeared in 11 games for the Trappers while tallying 1 assist. He joins the Kodiaks to bolster the teams offence and develop with the team as they continue to grow through their rebuild process.
Rowley is in his second Pacific Junior Hockey League season. He was a rookie in the league for the White Rock Whalers where he suited up for 35 games, tallying 3 Goals and 5 Assists for 8 Points. Rowley was traded to the Aldergrove Kodiaks in the early stages of the season where he has played 12 games, tallying 2 Goals and 2 Assists for 4 points–half way to his rookie numbers in a third of the games. Rowley brings some more size and skill to the Trappers line up. He is a highly spoken of individual from his previous coaches and the Trappers are excited to welcome him to the team.
Rowley will be wearing number 24 for the Trappers
