The Langley Trappers organization congratulates Ryan Howe who has been accepted to the University of Waterloo’s Computer Science & Applied Mathematics program.
Howe, a Victoria BC native spent most of his childhood growing up in Seattle Washington, and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Howe was identified at the Langley Trappers 2022-2023 Prospects Camp before joining the team for his 17-year-old season. Howe models his game after Kris Letang, All-Star Pittsburgh Penguins Defensemen and future Hall of Famer. Howe did not disappoint, quickly pushing the team in all aspects of the game. Howe loves being in the gym, and being on the ice. He was a go to player in 5on5, Power-Play and Penalty-Kill situations. He lead the team in scoring as a rookie and as a defensemen with 5 Goals 26 Assists for 31 points in 44 games played. Both a athlete and a scholar, Howe was accepted into a tough program at Waterloo and we wish him nothing but the best at school and after.
All the best at the University of Waterloo Ryan!
