Sam Brown a Red Leaf

The Langley Trappers organization wishes to congratulate Sam Brown on his commitment to play in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League for the Simon Fraser University Red Leafs!

Sam Brown was a young 17 year old rookie for the Trappers during the 2022-2023 season. Over the last three years he grew to be a fan favorite on the ice and a common community contributor at all Trappers Community events. Sam, an Assistant Captain last season was a 200 foot player. He was utilized in every situation, 5on5, on the Power Play and on the Penalty Kill. Brown would block shots regularly, levy big hits both open ice and on the wall, and had a knack to score big goals in big moments. Brown appeared in 116 PJHL games with the Trappers tallying 70 points and 219 Penalty Minutes.

Sam is studying Criminology and hopes to become a police officer in the coming years. We wish you continued success at SFU Sam!
