Langley Trappers Captain and 3rd year defensemen will be playing his 100th PJHL game versus the White Rock Whalers on October 2nd 2024.
Sumners, elected to be team Captain for the season has brought a lot of will and determination to the organization ever since suiting up for the Trappers in 2022. Since, Sumners has scored 10 Goals, tallied 37 Assists for 47 Points in 99 Games Played. He has accumulated 74 Penalties in Minutes and has also appeared in 12 Playoff games scoring 1 Goal and 3 Assists for 4 Points. This season he has been an integral piece to both the teams offence and defence. He blocks a shot a period, and wills the team on by his example. He has 4 Goals and 5 Assists for 9 Points in 10 games played this season, on pace for a personal best and breakout season.
