Thank You Osaka

The Langley Trappers would like to Thank Maddox Osaka for his efforts during the 2023-2024 season.

Osaka is set to join the British Columbia Hockey Leagues Surrey Eagles for the 2024-2025 campaign. Osaka joined the Trappers via trade from the Surrey Knights before the start of the season. at seventeen years old, and one of the youngest goalies in the league, he appeared in 29 regular season games posting a 2.50 Goals Against Average, a .930 Save Percentage, and a 13-9-1 record. He also backstopped the Trappers in all seven playoff games with a 2.78 Goals Against Average and a .924 Save Percentage. Osaka played in the league as a 16 year old goaltender bringing is league career totals to 48 Games Played a 3.42 Goals Against Average, a .915 Save percentage and a 16-19-2 overall record.

He is a high compete goaltender with a great attitude, a willingness to learn and an athletic build. He was a pleasure to work with this past season and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors in hockey.
