The Langley Trappers have signed Jake Torget. Jake is a Langley resident and comes to the Trappers after a stint in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Lloydminster Bobcats. Torget played in the British Columbia Elite Hockey League for the U18 Fraser Valley Thunderbirds where he sported 3 shutouts, a 2.06 Goals Against Average, and a 17-3 record during the 2023-2024 season. Torget is a well rounded goaltender with a high compete level, a natural love for the game, and technically sound positioning in between the pipes.
