The Langley Trappers have signed 2006 Goaltender from Oak Forest Illinois, Rodion “Rudy” Arishin.
Rudy comes to the Trappers by way of the Chicago Mission 18U team where he has spent the last two seasons with the organization. Rudy has also suited up for prominent programs such as the Chicago Fury, and the Anaheim Jr. Ducks. “Rudy is an agile athlete with a high compete level and a promising historic stats record” Mentioned coach Bakken when asked about the new net minder. “He is a vocal kid who is looking to showcase what he can do in Junior hockey both to our leagues and the leagues in the BC area. We’re excited to have him join our team. Rudy is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. He moved to Moscow with his family to pursue hockey before making the move to North America.
Rudy will be wearing number 1 for the Trappers.
