Trappers Sign Howe

The Langley Trappers are excited to announce the commitment of 2007 Defenseman Ryan Howe.

Howe, from Victoria BC, grew up in Pittsburgh PA watching the likes of Kris Letang who he models his game after. Howe played on the Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins Elite teams before his family moved to the greater Seattle area. Ryan played for the Seattle Jr. Kraken 16U team where he tallied 8 Points, 6 Goals, and 2 Assists in 16 Games Played.
Howe has played in the prestigious Quebec International Pee Wee tournament and has been on two teams that have participated in US national tournaments in their respective age groups.
“We see a lot of upside in Ryan” mentioned Coach Sparkman. “He is an exciting player to watch because he has a high intensity and high IQ for the game.”

Welcome to the Trappers Ryan!
