TRAPPERS SOCKEYES ROUND 2

The Langley Trappers are coming of a solid and decisive 4-1 series win over the Chilliwack Jets in the first round of the 2026 PJHL Playoffs. Next, the Trappers are to face the regular season champions, the Richmond Sockeyes in the second round. The Sockeyes were the number 1 seed facing the 8th seed Burnaby Steelers. The Sockeyes swept the Steelers while only giving up 1 goal in four games. The Sockeyes, an older team with 9; 20-year-old veteran players, to Langley’s 1, took the season series over the Trappers 6-1. Not to be deterred the Trappers, are now battle tested having defeated a heavy hitting, fast paced, and skilled Jets hockey team. The Trappers feel they are built for playoffs and are excited to take on the upcoming challenge that presents itself as the Richmond Sockeyes.

The series is set to kick off Monday evening at 7:30pm at the Sockeyes home rink Minoru Arena. The full series schedule is provided here:
