The Langley Trappers are excited to announce the commitment of 2007 Forward Lucas Wood from the Mission Stars Minor Hockey Association.
Wood affiliated with the u17 Thunderbirds as well as the Trappers last season. He was a regular player at Trappers practices. He is a tall power forward who enjoys physical play while taking emphasis in the little aspects of the game. Wood ran his team’s Power Play from the blue line last season showing his ability to adjust to different positions and scenarios. “We are excited to continue working with Lucas on his development and aspirations to be a junior hockey player” mentioned coach Gary Mahesh. “He has a lot of good qualities both on and off the ice. We’re looking forward to helping him become a top player in this league.”
